The Crevillente Fault is a major crustal lineament of the Eastern Betic Cordillera in the Alicante province of southeastern Spain, taking its name from the town of Crevillente. It trends broadly east-northeast to west-southwest across the region and forms part of the fault network that absorbs the Africa-Eurasia plate convergence in this seismically active corner of Iberia.

The fault shows predominantly strike-slip motion with reverse components, and it separates distinct geological domains of the Betic chain. Its long, segmented trace passes near several populated towns, and its activity contributes to the persistent low-to-moderate seismicity that characterises the Vega Baja and surrounding districts.

This shear zone lies within the same tectonic corridor that produced the destructive 1829 Torrevieja earthquake, one of the deadliest in modern Spanish history. Researchers study the Crevillente Fault alongside neighbouring structures to assess the combined seismic hazard threatening the densely populated and heavily built-up coastal plain of southern Alicante.
